Our Journey: A Legacy of Innovation
The Brazilian Foundation (2010 – 2012)
Our story began with a mission to solve the "black box" of energy billing. During the landmark implementation of ANEEL Normative Resolution 043/2010, our founder, Rodrigo Henrique Martinson Santos, led the development of technology to navigate the Tarifa Branca (White Tariff).
Incubated at INCIT (Itajubá Innovation Center)—located in Brazil’s "Capital of Electrical Engineering"—our early projects were recognized as "Great Initiatives" for their ability to empower consumers with real-time cost visibility.
The Florida Expansion (2019 – Present)
In 2019, Martinson Machine expanded to the United States, joining The HUB | UF Innovate at the University of Florida. This transition allowed us to fuse our deep electrical engineering roots with cutting-edge IoT, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence.
We evolved our hardware from simple smart meters into a comprehensive AI-driven Energy Management System (EMS) capable of predictive analytics and autonomous optimization.
Regulatory Excellence

In 2024, Martinson Machine achieved a new pinnacle of regulatory excellence. We are officially licensed by ANEEL as an operator in the Free Energy Market (Mercado Livre de Energia) and serve as a registered Agent of the CCEE (Câmara de Comercialização de Energia Elétrica).
